LDIC Introduce its 10 Gigabit Ethernet/Optical Transceiver/SERDES with lowest power dissipation and Jitter for Ethernet, Optical network and backplane application

LDIC the technology leader in the development of high speed Super I/O Devices™, today announced the industry's first 0.18 micron CMOS 10 Gigabit Ethernet transceiver, which features the lowest power 600mW/Channel, with 50pSecond maximum jitter coolest and highest performance Transceivers technology with lowest cost in the market.

The LD10 Gigabit Transceiver is high-speed data used for LAN, MAN, and WAN communications networks. LDIC plan to provide higher integration using its Transceiver technology with NPU and System memory with its patented Pseudo RAM technology for highest level of integration, performance, higher bandwidth, and reduction of power consumption and prices. LDIC 10Gbit transceiver support Ethernet, Optical and WDM applications full compliant with 10 Gigabit Attachment Unit Interface (XAUI) and 10 Gigabit Media Independent Interface (XGMII) specifications of the IEEE 802.3ae draft. In addition to the latest IEEE XGMII HSTL I/O support at 1.5V IEEE802.3ae.

The LDIC’s Transceiver includes Built-In-Self-Test, and programmable I/O for system interface to 3.3V/1.8V/1.5V Interface.

LDIC 10Gbit Transceiver uses 4-channel at 3.125Gb/S independently tunable and match- able to the interface and includes SERDES and 8B/10B ENDEC and high precision CDR tunable and separately programmable for each channel.

This device supports 1.0Gb/S, 1.25Gb/S, 2.0Gb/S, and 2.5 Gb/S to support a variety of backplane applications using 125 MHz reference inputs clock to provide simple low cost clocking.

LDIC line of product also includes Level-II Switches, which incorporate the Transceiver, PCS, and MAC in one chip for 1.0Gb/Sec Ethernet application.

LDIC 10Gb/S is featured in a 256-pin Fine Ball Grid Array (TFBGA) package, or 309TFBGA package. The device Specification and samples will be provided under NDA
